Hello Ginny,
I turned the walk into a ‘day trip’, because I wanted to make the most of it. Overall I reckon it took me 6 to 7 hours, because I stopped several times to take photos and a couple of breaks. It’s around 10km to Vaeresholmen, though, so you can make it quicker, especially if you choose to walk to the paeninsula and use public transport to go back to Trondheim. And the views are spectacular! Enjoy 🙂
