The ride up from Alta is superb with fantastic scenery. The town is perfect for a stopover or just a pit stop for lunch. The people were very friendly as are most Norwegians. Enjoyed it so much that another visit is planned

We had enough time to walk to the cathedral and cemetery and both were very interesting and also visited the local museum where I first saw a Puffin in one of the displays. We were sorry that we didn’t have more time to explore the town but the memories linger on.

Greetings from Hammerfest.
