What a wonderful idea!!!! My maternal heritage is Danish. I don’t know if they have anything similar or not. This sounds like a wonderful tradition!

I use a form and a pastry bag with a large tip. It goes so easy. I have made as many as three batches to accommodate weddings. We put a bottle of wine inside for the bride and groom to enjoy on their first Anniversary. I have also dressed it up for Christmas getting tiny ornaments and using pins to make it look like a tree. I then set it on fake greenery with tiny wrapped presents around the base. I always put a Norwegian Crown at the top. There’s so much you can do with them. Make a cornucopia and fill it with fruit .
