Re-visiting about three years ago totally stunned me. With the establishment of the university, the whole vibe was different, with a high proportion of young people, many of whom had stayed after their studies to become permanent residents. I did find it hard to accept a modern shopping precinct! We too had a lovely time in the husky cafe. What lovely people, and dogs! What was worse for us was the long walk from the ship to the newer part of town along the dusty road. Keep posting! Thank you.

The weather wasn’t great, but that added to the mystique of the place. Enjoyed the walk around town, the museum, the CoOp and had a lovely beer at the brewery.
