We moved to Bergen at the tail end of COVID, in 2021. We brought our two labradoodles with us. We have met more good people walking our dogs than any other way. Of course, this is not a reason to add a new pet to the family. However, I will say that if you’ve considered it, you can add “meeting a lot of Norwegians” to your list of pros. I am amazed at how sociable folks can get when having the dog to talk about. I’m convinced that, as a whole, Norwegians are crazy about dogs (and cats). To me, that’s the mark of a good heart!
