We spent 3 months in Oslo this year and EVERYONE a was wearing it. My daughter and I both bought the shorts to remind us of our time there. It was hard to find the preferred pair in new season colours in the right size because they were so popular and a lot had sold out. To us Amundsen is the quintessential Norwegian wear. Nice quality street wear that is obviously practical for harder wearing situations
