You can always dry clean them.
If yoy are so inclibed, you can wash them in the bathtub with a sozp for wool like Woolite. Add warm water to the tub, swish in the soap and add the blanket. Gentlemen swish the blanket around and squeeze the soap through it. Do not twist or wring.
Do several rinses in the same temperature water. Spred out to dry.
I do not ever recommend a washer or dryer as the wool might felt.
