Even though she’s an active hiker and biker, she’s now on a diet, due to all the good food onboard. Her photos brought me to tears, they were so beautiful. We’ve been on three Baltic cruises (2 Holland America and one Princess), but we don’t need a casino, entertainment, or a pool. Thank you for your detailed descriptions. There’s a Hurtigruten “astronomy cruise” that’s almost affordable but it’s in December and January! Would that be nuts? We’d rather be cold than hot, but…

I am planning a cruise on a Havila boat in September 2024. A lot of reading taking place at the moment. There are some amazing Youtube videos I am studying.

My wife and I come from a warm climate, so this will be a game changer for warm clothing management.
