As explained in the article, there is nothing special about the SUA. They just bring together UDI, Police & Tax in one building. If you can hand in documentation at a Norwegian Police station, you can use a SUA. But they require appointments booked online in advance.

In short I have a paid and submitted an application for a work/residency permit. I am now at the stage where I must hand in all relevant documents to VFS (Visa Application Center) in London. However, they are fully booked for what seems to be indefinitely. Today I tried a walk in but was sent away with my tail between my legs.

My question is, can I bypass all this nonsense and fly to Norway to submit all my docs with SUA. Your article states *Quote* “You can also apply for residence and hand in various documentation if you are applying for or renewing permits from within Norway.”

Can you clarify if you are referring to *Persons already Residing In Norway* when you say “Within Norway”

If I can go direct to the source, god knows I’ll have a flight booked for Oslo tomorrow.

I completely understand if you are uncertain/able to answer my question, but I greatly appreciate any time you take to read and respond to my question.

Best Regards

Danny
