Pick one that doesn’t just rely on taking you to one place. The ones that are “best” will take you to wherever the best chance is on that particular night, sometimes all the way into Finland in search of cloudless skies.

I’m Karen from Malaysia.
We (me & hubby) are planning to go for the Northern Lights this Oct- Nov in Tromso. Am in the midst of checking out the various NL tours there & yet to confirm which to go for. There are some tours that are pretty cheap while there are the expensive ones. How do I choose?
Can you please recommend based your experience?
Is Oct or Nov a good time to catch the Northern Lights?
We would like to go for the whale watching too.
